How to use it
- 1
Pick a preset
Five presets cover the common ages and needs: preschool, early elementary, dysgraphia support, teen composition, and adult daily. The settings update automatically.
- 2
Customize if you want
Tweak line spacing, baseline guide, line color, page size, margin, and background. Cream and pale yellow backgrounds reduce visual stress for many dyslexic readers.
- 3
Preview the page live
The A4 preview on the left updates as you change settings. You see the final paper before printing, no surprises.
- 4
Print or download
Print directly from the browser, or download as PDF, SVG, or PNG. The vector SVG keeps your spacing exact at any zoom level.
When parents and teachers use it
A six year old learning to write
Standard school notebooks have narrow lines and only a baseline. Pick the Preschool preset, switch to 4-line mode, and your child has a height guide for ascender, midline, baseline, and descender. Letter proportions stop being a guessing game.
A child with dysgraphia in elementary school
Letters that climb up off the line, drop below it, or shrink mid-word are typical with dysgraphia. The Dysgraphia preset uses 12 mm spacing, a 4-line guide with a soft orange baseline, and a pale yellow background. The bold baseline anchors the eye, the height guide trains letter sizing.
A teen who keeps a daily journal
A dyslexic teen often writes longer when the page itself feels less clinical. The Teen preset switches to a single baseline at 9 mm spacing, a wider margin, and a cream background. Cream paper at home, beside a regular school notebook, often opens up freewriting.
Why presets matter
Standard writing paper is one-size-fits-all. A child learning to form letters needs different spacing from a teen drafting an essay, and a child with dysgraphia needs a height guide most school notebooks do not offer.
Each preset in this tool is a starting point built from how children at that stage actually use the page. The Preschool preset gives extra spacing and a 4-line guide because letter proportions are still forming. The Dysgraphia preset adds a soft yellow background and a stronger baseline because attention regulation is part of the picture. The Teen preset returns to a tighter line because handwriting has matured but the eye still benefits from a warm background.
The presets are starting points, not constraints. Switch to Custom and every parameter is yours. The paper is generated entirely in your browser, your settings persist locally, nothing ever leaves the device.
