Number Writing Paper

Some children know the number but lose it on the way to the page, reversing a 3 or starting a 5 from the wrong corner. This tool prints clean number-formation sheets, a few traced samples followed by spaced boxes on a baseline, the way our Writing Paper does for letters.

What the Number Writing Paper does

Writing a number is two jobs at once: remembering which digit you mean, and getting your hand to form it the right way. For a child with dyscalculia or dysgraphia, the second job can swallow the first, so a 2 turns backwards or a 7 floats off the line. A consistent guide makes the formation automatic, freeing the child to think about the math.

The Number Writing Paper lets you pick the digits, set how many traced samples lead each row, and print a clean sheet with a baseline to copy onto, with spacing tuned for small hands. It is the number companion to our Writing Paper. From kindlexy.com.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick the digits

Tap the digits your child is practicing, from a single tricky number to all ten.

  2. 2

    Set the guide

Choose faint trace or outline, how many traced samples lead each row, the box count, size, and a baseline.

  3. 3

    Print it

A clean sheet, ready in seconds, for repeat practice. Nothing leaves your device.

  4. 4

    Practice together

Trace a few each day. The consistent guide builds the motor memory that makes the digit feel automatic.

Frequently asked questions

+

What does the Number Writing Paper do?

It prints clean practice sheets where each digit starts with a few traced samples, then leaves spaced boxes with a baseline to copy them. It is the number version of our Writing Paper, made for children who reverse digits or find writing numbers hard.
+

Is it free?

Yes. Free, no signup, no account, and no usage limits. You make and print sheets right in your browser, and nothing you do leaves your device.
+

How does guided number writing help?

Many children know the number but lose it on the way to the page: a 3 becomes an E, a 5 starts from the wrong corner. Tracing a consistent shape, then copying it on a baseline, builds the motor memory, so forming the digit stops competing with thinking about the math.
+

Who is it for?

Children working on number formation, especially those with dyscalculia or dysgraphia, and anyone who reverses digits. It works for early writers and for older children who still find numbers effortful.
+

Is this a diagnosis tool?

No. It is a practice aid for home use. It does not diagnose or treat dyscalculia or dysgraphia. If you have concerns, speak with a qualified specialist.
